Imperiale Racing has confirmed its driver line-up for the 2017 International GT Open. After debuting in the series at the Monza round last year, the Modena-based team, one of the top Lamborghini customer teams, has confirmed a two Huracán GT3 campaign for this year, with an-all Italian set of drivers.
Reigning GT Open co-champion and former double FIA-GT champion Thomas Biagi (41) has joined the squad with the objective to retain his crown. His team mate will be Giovanni Venturini (25) is a Lamborghini factory driver and has a successful past in single-seaters, up to F.Renault 3.5 and GP3.
In the other car, former Italian GT champion and winner of Porsche and Ferrari trophies Vito Postiglione (40) will team up with Andrea Fontana (20) finished 3rd Pro-Am in the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo last year and is a member of the Young Drivers Program of Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
