Home heroes shine in hot Imola, with Agostini-Ferrari (Audi Sport Italia) at the top of free practice

It was a very warm Friday of free practice at Imola for the return of the International GT Open after ten years to the iconic track in Emilia Romagna. Temperatures raised up to 33 degrees Celsius, with high humidity, and even warmer weather is expected tomorrow.

On their home track, Italian drivers shone, with Riccardo Agostini and Lorenzo Ferrari putting the Audi R8 LMS of Audi Sport Italia, which is a making a one-off appearance and debuting in the series , on top of the rankings of both sessions.
