Pulcini takes pole 1 at the Hungaroring

Leonardo Pulcini took his second pole of the season ahead of Race 1 at the Hungaroring in a very closely fought qualifying session where he beat the Theeba Motorsport Mercedes of Adam Christodoulou by only 8 thousandths of a second.

The young Italian driver, who shares the wheel of the multicolored Lamborghini with Benja Hites, reverted the results of yesterday’s free practice and is determined to keep the lead of the championship: “This is a track where I expected our car to do well and today it was simply perfect”, he said.

Row 2 will be for  the other Oregon Lambo of Kevin Gilardoni (-0s171) and the GetSpeed Mercedes of Moritz Kranz (-0s328).

In third row, the second SPS Mercedes with Dominik Baumann (-0s456) and the Kessel Racing Ferrari of Axcil Jefferies (-0s655), who led part of the session.

Best driver in Am was Erwin Zanotti, on one of the other Kessel Racing cars.
