The first of several new teams entering the International GT Open in 2023 has been confirmed. It is Germany’s racing one, which will join the series with two Ferraris: one will be a 488 and the other the brand new 296.
racing one, based in Plaidt, very close to the Nürburgring, has been competing mainly in VLN / NLS and Creventic events, and been linked to the Prancing Horse since 2011.
Team Principal Martin Kohlhaas comments: “Joining a top continental series like the International GT Open is the right next step for us but also a very big challenge, as this will be our first full season in a European championship with GT3 machinery. We are extremely motivated and excited with the new project ahead of us.”
racing one will field a new Ferrari 296 in Pro-Am, for a driver duo to be announced shortly, and a Ferrari 488 in Am that will be entrusted to the German pair composed of Stefan Aust (51) and Jacob Schell (34).
