There will be a third father-and-son pair (beside the Proctors and the Lewandowskis) at the start of the GT Open Endurance race in Spa: Stephen and Brenton Grove. The Australiansr, 56- and 26-year-old respectively, are known for their successes in GT racing at home, notably at the Bathurst 12 Hours, where they have collected five and three class wins respectively. Stephen and Brenton are also regular IGTC contenders since 2022.
They will be at the wheel of a Porsche 992 of the new generation entered by the family team, Grove Racing, in cooperation with Earl Bamber Motorsport Giga Racing, who already contested the GT Open Endurance race last year.
Brenton Grove commented: "It's going to be great doing the GT Open race weekend at Spa. It looks like a great series, with many strong cars, and it will be a perfect way for us to continue preparing for the 24 Hours."
