One-off in the GT Open at the Algarve for Iron Lynx

15.04.2025

Iron Lynx, one of the leading teams on the GT scene, will make its debut in the International GT Open at the season-opener in Portimão. It will be a one-off for the Italian squad but also a first taste of the series.

The squad will enter one of its Mercedes AMG GT3 for the well-known Australian father-and-son pair composed of Stephen and Brenton Grove, who will be preparing in view of the European events in their race programme this year.

Andrea Piccini, Iron Lynx Team Principal & CEO commented: "It's great to welcome Stephen and Brenton on board with an early race in GT Open and even more to see Stephen back competing and in full shape. The GT Open championship grew a lot in the past two seasons and offers a good environment to prepare for the challenges ahead, so we are delighted to make our debut in the series. Portimao is one of the European tracks that our drivers know best and like the most, so it’s the perfect place to start preparing our Le Mans attack!"
