The new KTM X-BOW GTX to make its sprint debut in the GT Open, at Red Bull Ring

According to various press reports, the KTM X-BOW GTX will make its sprint race debut in the International GT Open, in the third round to be held mid-September at his home track, the Red Bull Ring. Before that, the new racer by the Austrian maker, developed by Reiter Engineering, will make its endurance debut in July at the Monza 12 Hours, part of Creventic’s 24 Hours Series, entrusted to Stefan Rosina, Laura Kraihamer and Eike Angermayr.

The testing and development programme prior to FIA homologation will include also other races. The first pictures of the car, in the livery of project partner Valvoline, reveal the strikingly innovative looks of this new car, powered by an Audi engine of over 500 hp.
